On July 1, 2010, the Party Committee of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources (hereinafter, the Bureau), under the theme of 'Extol Party, Laud Motherland and Love Soil', held a mass singing concert to mark the 89th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China. A total of 80 singers, male and female, participated in the solo and choir competition, each with 40 people. After preliminaries, 10 female solo, 10 male solo and 4 choir entered finals; ultimately 6 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze were selected. With joint efforts and active participation, this event achieved a complete success and found a large number of personnel with artistic talents and good singers in the sector of Land and Resources.

　　In speaking about the impression on the Singing Concert, Li Fenghai, the full-time Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bureau expressed that “On the eve of Party’s birthday, sing songs of praise, recall its great history, and echo the revolutionary classics. With strong support from leaders of the Bureau and counseling from invited professionals, competitor singers rehearse thoroughly and sing beautifully. Throughout the preliminaries and finals, the singers are active, panelists are fair and winners are carefully chosen. Under the Five-Starred Red Flag, we will inherit the traditions of our Party, promote our institution’s culture and build up our Party.”

　　Shi Daixin, the Executive Deputy Director of Working Committee of the Trade Unions of the Organs directly under the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, spoke highly of the event. Wei Jiahe, Propaganda Director of the Working Committee of Organs directly under the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, described the event as good from five perspectives, namely, format, theme, content, singing and image.

　　When making conclusive summary of the event on behalf of the Party Committee of the Bureau, Guo Chuangxing, the Vice Inspector of the Bureau, Guo Chuangxing, fully acknowledged the organization of the event, singers’ performance and their artistic achievements, and he further reiterated the determination to use this event to effectively implement the 'Three Entries and Two Promotions' program, the two campaigns of ' Compete to be the Excellent and Model Role' and the 'Year for Improving the Conducts Of Party Members'. In building the institutional culture, great efforts would be made to build dynamic morale of all party members and functionaries to contribute more to the administration of land and resources.

　　To mark the 89th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China, all Party Committees within Beijing Municipal Bureau of Land and Resources one after another organized a great variety of celebrations, which has greatly helped secure the delivery of the two campaigns, and enormously enhanced the cohesion of the Party committee. 

　　The four Party Committees of Mineral Resources Development Division, Geological Environment Division, Mineral Resources Exploration and Reserves Division and Geothermal Resources Division co-organized Party members and working staff to visit Panshan Martyrs’ Cemetery--a National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base on a themed commemoration tour of 'Glorify the Revolutionary Spirits, Improve Job Performance'.

　　The Party Committee of Cadastral Department arranged party members to make a study trip to Anti-corruption Education Base of Beijing City, study the 'Code of Ethics'; Xicheng Office convened a consultative meeting to help activists who would join in the Party.  

　　The Party members from the Shijingshan Office visited the Revolutionary Martyr of Dong Cunrui’s Cemetery, an endeavor to encourage everyone to cherish the hard-won happiness, inherit and carry forward the glorious tradition of the Party and the army, and show the advanced nature of Party members in each concrete act.

　　The Party members from the Dongcheng Office paid a visit to the most famous revolutionary base of China - Yan’an on an inspection and study tour which offered every visitor an opportunity to have a revolution baptism, experience a soul thrilling, gather strength and enrich spirits.   

　　The Mentougou Office made a rapid response to the appeal of the Organization Department and Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Mentougou District by organizing a donation campaign of 'Party Member’s Compassion and Love', raising a total of RMB 2,480.

　　The Xuanwu Office organized an inspection and study tour to Menglianggu Battle Memorial Hall in the old revolutionary base of Yimeng Mountainous Region of Shandong Province, and launched a campaign to follow the example of Shen Hao to be a diligent land guard to interpret the unlimited loyalty to the Party and the people even at the cost of one’s own life. Everyone expressed willingness to perform their duties in a down-to-the-earth approach in their posts, and make selfless dedication to the land and resources management as well as the economic and social development of the Capital of China. 

　　On the Party-Day Campaign themed 'Keep firmly in mind the Principles and Oaths, Maintain the Nature of Party Member', the Party Committee of Logistics Service Department also organized a trip to Panshan Martyrs’ Cemetery in the neighboring Tianjin City. Meanwhile a knowledge contest with the theme of 'Party in My Heart' was held to honor the 89th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China.
