  2010-02-04
On Feb. 3rd, 2010, Zeng Zanrong, Vice Director of the Bureau, organized a public hearing for the update of benchmark land price in Beijing. 20 representatives from government departments, enterprises, including social specialists and common citizens, attended the hearing.
The update of benchmark land price this time is conducted with exploration and innovation in many aspects. It builds up a multilevel land price management system based on multilevel space/land classification system, conducting macro-control on price of land for different usage, moderate-control on price of land in different regions, and micro-control on marked land price; it adopts per-unit floorage land price as the only form of benchmark land price, and adopts a holistic approach for the coordination of price of land to be transferred through agreement and that to be transferred through bidding, auction, and listing; it combines the benchmark land price with marked land price and land price monitoring, and develops a dynamic price updating system, making the benchmark land price more instructional and practical; it also integrates land price management resources, and builds a benchmark land price application management platform with the functions of information release and search, providing services for the public.
The multilevel price system suits to Beijing as a huge metropolis with multiple centers, regions and unbalanced markets. The representatives for the hearing basically agreed on and supported the adjustment of the benchmark land price and approved the results of the update.
